Self Love and A Prescription to Get Yours

Loving yourself is a term that goes around these days, well quite often. So, my dear readers I will be sharing a few things regarding that! It isn't something that you can just buy in a shop or it is not something that can be found by just feeling good. Loving yourself comes only from doing a few things that makes you stronger, physically, emotionally and mentally.

Self love comes only out of appreciation and caring about the work that you do on everyday basis. There is a certain way to follow it and believe me it is not that hard. You just need this prescription of 7 steps to do so. Follow them and find a way to 'Self Love'

1. Become Thoughtful:

Always think before you do something and after you do something. Every task you do should make you feel proud on yourself and happy about yourself. It is n't that hard to do when you just stop and think before you take a step ahead.

2. Seek for What You Need Rather Than What You Want: 

It is very important in your life to know what is more important. The basic difference between wanting something and needing something is quite clear if you know how to look at it. Wanting something can come from jealousy or acquiring something which someone else might have which might take you overboard. But when you work towards the things that you need, your success and happiness will come hand in hand.

3. Practice Self care:

Keeping body healthy and clean is also a way to reach Self Love. If you feel good in your skin and keep it healthy and warm, nothing can stop you from loving yourself. You are your own garden make sure you remove the weeds and unnecessary things out of it. Let the flowers bloom and keep it fresh.

4. Set Boundaries:

Have a limit for everything and learn to say no. It is absolutely necessary to know where is the limit of your conscience. When you realize the necessity of stopping yourself from crossing the line of limit you will see how respectful you feel towards yourself. Don't over burden yourself and face fatigue.

5. Protect Yourself:

Make sure that you do things which your body, mind and soul will love. But to have that you first need to be healthy and up on your toes. Be aware of your surroundings, sometimes bad words can also harm your soul and body. Make sure you are physically fit and sound to cross over any obstacle. When you protect yourself, it shows that you are loving yourself.

6. Forgive Yourself:

"You are a Human" never forget these words when you commit a mistake. It is important to know whether you have done a mistake or not. If you don not appreciate the step that you have taken, then you must have done something wrong to make your self conscience feel guilty. But when that happens, don't punish yourself. Forgive yourself, by realizing and doing the right thing after the mistake. Apologize to yourself first and do the correction; that's self love.

7. Live Meaningfully:

Living by your own rules is good but those rules make no sense to your living habits then you ought to change it. DO things which reflect your goodness and health. Do things which you are meant to do and you must pick things which are meant to be taken in consideration by you. Establish your life meaningfully and choose only the things which will keep you happy and healthy.

Even if you choose to live by any one or two of the above points, the change in your life and mentality will just change. The way you love yourself is the way you will love any other person. The minute you love yourself, you will see how people attract themselves towards you and how welcoming you become which will eventually support your well being.
